This may be especially relevant if:
1. you’ve wanted to post content
2. you’re hesitant to post for any reason
“Content creation takes too long”
but worthwhile things take time and effort. Content is incredibly FULFILLING and learning the ropes is a journey unlike any other. It’s an exponential game rather than a linear one, so you have to be patient, but once you get it, it will all be worth it. (Use AI tools like Vyra to speedrun your scripting and video editing :D)
“I don’t want to contribute to the social media / doomscrolling / comparison problems”
but you could become a role model that shows the younger generations what is possible if we dream to our fullest. Be an active force in contributing to the good parts! Someone who inspires others, builds communities, and provides hope, value, and support.
“I’m worried what my friends / family / people will think of me”
the real ones will stay. They’ll support you and be excited for you and proud of you!! The ones who judge or talk behind your back are projecting their insecurities: they’re jealous that they don’t have the same courage to pursue their own dreams. Thus, they defend themselves and their egos. Don’t let this affect you - you’re forging your own path!
“I’m afraid of failing”
failure is part of the equation, and you must accept that not every video you post will go viral. The greatest creators you admire all have vast collections of failures. The more someone has failed, the more they have succeeded too. Failure means you tried! And if you keep trying, you WILL make it.
“My life is not interesting enough”
untrue!! What you perceive as mundane may be incredibly inspiring to others. And you do not need to make content about your life anyway; you could discuss topics you’re interested in, tell lived or fictional stories, or give advice. The possibilities are endless with content; bring your ideas to life!
